Logistics. Keep it moving.
My experience in logistics includes warehouse management and lean. In logistics, small delays multiply: a missed scan, an unclear handoff or a late report turns into a late delivery somewhere down the line.

Logistics, at a glance.
Logistics experience
My experience in logistics includes warehouse management and lean, so I know the work happens on the floor, not only on a screen.
Lean thinking
Find the waste, such as waiting, rework and unnecessary movement, and remove it step by step with the people doing the work.
Connected systems
Order, stock, warehouse and transport data in agreement, so nobody retypes a delivery note or chases a missing update.
Visible flow
Simple dashboards that show what is stuck, late or short, while there is still time to act.
What matters in logistics.
Flow, not just speed
Goods move through receiving, storage, picking, packing and dispatch. A bottleneck anywhere slows everything.
Accurate stock
If the system and the shelf disagree, every decision downstream suffers. Simple, reliable recording beats clever reports.
Work on the floor
Tools must suit people on the move, often on handheld devices and under time pressure.
Exceptions every day
Damaged goods, short deliveries and returns need a clear route, not a phone call and a sticky note.
Lean, in plain English.
Lean is a way of improving work by removing waste: anything that takes time or effort without adding value for the customer. Waiting, double handling, searching for things and fixing mistakes are the usual suspects.
It works best when the people doing the job help improve it. Go and see the work, make one change, check the result, then make the next one.
Where I can help.
Process design for receiving, picking, returns or exception handling. Integrations between order, warehouse and transport systems. Mobile tools for people on the floor. And dashboards that show the flow at a glance.
Pick the flow that causes the most trouble. Focused discovery maps it and ends with a solution plan; changes across several sites or systems start with a complex systems assessment.
