When a programme needs a workstream lead.
National and global programmes have many owners: the business process, the systems, the implementation partners and the operational service. Work falls between them unless someone holds the thread.
This is the scale of work I enjoy most. I take a clearly agreed role, lead or deliver one workstream, and keep its decisions, dependencies and progress visible to the wider programme.

Coordinate requirements, technical decisions and delivery, and do hands-on work where that is part of the role.
Hand over cleanly
Documentation, training and agreed operational ownership before the workstream closes.
Experience across business units and functions.
At Vodafone Business, my sales operations remit covered IoT, Cloud, Digital Sales, Carrier, MNC (VGE) and selected operating companies. An onboarding process I developed in IoT was adopted more widely across Vodafone Business, covering 2,300+ sales users; the figure describes the reach of that rollout.
I also coordinated the review and approval process for complex global enterprise deals with senior leaders across commercial, financial, legal and technical functions. Today, as external / fractional CTO at Kona Libre, I lead the technical work and develop the application myself.
Scoped and priced by phase.
Programme work uses £750 per own working day as the planning basis for my workstream leadership and delivery. Each phase is scoped and priced on its own, with the scope, responsibilities, resources and commercial terms agreed for that programme.
My fee, other specialists and operating costs are set out separately, so a personal engagement is never confused with the entire programme budget. If the problem is still uncertain, a complex systems assessment is a sensible first step.
